Chub fishing Vlog - Knee Slapping Vlog
I must admit that so far throughout this season I have written less about my fishing trips and instead filmed with more regularity, due to that something had to take a back seat in the balance of things and in this case it has been my written blog entries which have, not that I mind as I very much enjoy filming the fishing videos and sharing them amongst like minded individuals, although some things are not put across the same way in video as they are when put into written form and vis-a-vis.
The above video is a trip spent after what are probably my favourite species chub and also include a bit of knee slapping and fist shaking action which was very much in the style of Basil Fawlty!

A lovely stretch of small river and some fab chevins - would you be able to show us more on the rig design?
ReplyDeleteThanks KB and yes I would be more than happy to.
DeleteNice one Mark, some cracking chub..... as usual :o)
ReplyDeleteCheers Dave and some better knee slapping action, just needed some lederhosen lol.
DeleteEnjoyed the vid again Mark, keep 'em coming!
ReplyDeleteThanks Boudewijn, I'm now looking forward to watching your new Lot video!
DeleteNice to view this blog. I would like to discuss about fishing baits and reels. I will share more about this in our blog thanks for sharing the info.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Kevin - MB Boats
I have a small river very local to me in Warwickshire, very similar, must get out there with the bread and paste before end of season, another great vid mark
ReplyDeleteHello there SMG, thanks for stopping by to view the blog and this particularly video entry. Sounds as if the river you have in Warwickshire is similar in size to some of the intimate ones that I fish. I quite like the look of the Stour in Warwickshire and having passed it by on a couple of occasions I must say it looks a lovely little river.
DeleteMy river is actually the Leam, has a reputation for big chub, Roach and Perch. my club has a stretch which is full of classic swims, creases etc.. alot of guys fish it with a match mentality which i find hard to understand, as it screams crust, lobworm and cheese. Definately merits further investigation, BTW keep uploading the vids, the quality is very good Mark
ReplyDeleteAh the Leam, that has done some absolutely clonking chub if my memory serves me correctly, looks a lovely little river too and thank you regarding the videos as it means a lot to find that people enjoy them so much.
DeleteAlso just watched your floatfishing session on the Blackwater, noticed your rod, I also own the TF gear compact all rounder, absolute little gem, and a lovely mini quiver too when you change it over
ReplyDeleteThanks SMG (sorry I don't know your name). It is indeed a TF gear compact, alas only the float rod not the all rounder, I absolutely love the action, even more so as it's not overpriced. A friend of mine does actually own the all rounder rod that you mention and he loves it, especially the versatility.
DeleteAbsolutely, Scott by the way
